1.Why are the car seat covers I bought elsewhere loose and baggy after installation?

Most universal or semi-custom seat covers are made using general measurements, rather than the exact shape of your car seats. This can leave excess material around the seats, causing the covers to look loose, wrinkled and poorly fitted.

At Awesome Cover Australia, every vehicle is 3D scanned and made with a vehicle-specific pattern. Our covers are designed, cut, sewn and professionally installed to follow the original shape of your seats as closely as possible.

2. Are your seat covers ready-made or custom-made?

All Awesome Cover seat covers are custom-made for your specific vehicle.

We manufacture each set according to your vehicle make, model, year, seat configuration, colour and selected design options.

3. Do your custom seat covers come with a warranty?

Yes. All Awesome Cover custom-made car seat covers come with a 1 Year Warranty covering manufacturing defects and workmanship issues under normal use.

4. What does the 1 Year Warranty cover?

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues that affect the quality or intended use of the product under normal use.

5. What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty generally does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper installation or removal, modifications, or damage caused by unsuitable cleaning products or external factors.

6. How do I make sure I order the correct seat covers?

Production & Shipping

9. How long does my order take?

Because every set is custom-made, your order requires production time.

The estimated total delivery time is approximately 10–14 days from the date you place your order to the date you receive your seat covers.

This includes production, quality checking and DHL delivery.

10. How will my order be shipped?

All orders are shipped using DHL.

Once your order has been dispatched, we will provide a DHL tracking number so you can track your delivery.

11. Can I change or cancel my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your order.

Because production may begin shortly after your order is confirmed, changes or cancellations may not be possible once production has started.

Installation

12. Are the seat covers difficult to install?

Our seat covers are vehicle-specific and designed for a close, factory-style fit.

Installation may take some time because the covers are designed to fit tightly around the original seats.

Some customers may prefer professional installation, especially for more complex seat configurations.

13. Why does my seat cover feel very tight during installation?

This is normal for a custom-fit seat cover.

The cover is designed to fit closely to the original seat rather than being loose like a universal seat cover.

During installation, the material may need to be carefully stretched and positioned around the seat.

Do not force or cut the cover.

If you are having difficulty, please contact us and send photos or a short video. Our team can guide you through the installation.

14. The seat cover doesn’t look perfectly fitted after installation. What should I do?

Please don’t worry.

After installation, some areas may require additional adjustment, pulling and repositioning to achieve the best fit.

Please send us clear photos of the installed seat cover before making any modifications.

Our team can help identify whether it is an installation adjustment or a product issue.

15. Can I cut or modify the seat covers myself?

Please do not cut, modify or alter the seat covers before contacting us.

If you believe there is a fitment problem, send us photos first.

Unauthorised modifications may affect our ability to determine the cause of the problem.

16. Are your seat covers compatible with side airbags?

Our vehicle-specific seat covers are designed with consideration for the original seat configuration and relevant side-airbag areas.

However, installation must be carried out correctly.

Never cut, modify or alter the airbag area yourself.

If you have any concerns about the airbag area during installation, stop and contact us before continuing.

28. Do you make custom floor mats?

Yes. We also offer custom-made car floor mats designed to fit specific vehicle models. Available materials, colours and designs may vary depending on the vehicle.
